Balade à 好望角 (苗栗後龍, Taïwan)

 

Dernièrement, on a été se balader à 好望角 au bord de la mer, à 1 heure de chez nous.

We recently visited the area of 好望角 on the seaside, roughly 1 hour south from home.

Le coin est très venteux, d'où les éoliennes, qui produisent à peu près 2% de l'énergie totale de Taïwan.

Cette région aride est plutôt peu développée.

The area is very windy, hence the wind turbines, accounting for about 2% of the total energy of Taiwan.

This area is dry and not so developed.

Il suffit de voir la forme des arbres pour savoir si le coin est venteux!

The shape of the local trees says it all of how much windy the area is!

Pas loin de là, un ancien tunnel de chemin de fer reconverti en point touristique.

C'est censé évoquer le tunnel magique du très beau film animé de Miyazaki, "Le voyage de Chihiro".

Not far from here, an old train tunnel reconverted to a touristic spot.

It is supposed to mimic the magical tunnel of Miyazaki's beautiful animated film "Spirited away".

Comme on est au bord de mer, on est allés faire un petit resto de fruits de mer sans menu. 

Le patron cuisine ce qu'il a sous la main.

Tout ça pour 14euros par personne! Très bon en plus.

Resto 榕樹下海鮮餐廳, 外埔漁港.

Since we are by the sea, we went to a small "no menu" seafood restaurant.

The chef cooks whatever he has on hands.

All these dishes for 14 euros per person! Very good by the way.
