Réservoir de Pao Shan (寶山水庫, Taïwan)

Le réservoir est tout près de chez nous. Il n'aurait rien d'extraordinaire si ce n'était sa fonction vitale d'alimenter en eau la multitude d'usines hyper-sophistiquées du Parc Industriel de Hsinchu, le "Silicon Valley" Taïwanais, qui emploie plus de 120000 personnes. Pour en être sûr, un 2ème réservoir a d'ailleurs été crée il y a quelques années, aussi dans le coin.
Mis à part ça, le réservoir est un endroit très agréable pour la promenade, avec ses deux ponts suspendus, oiseaux, papillons..., ou pour la pêche, même si des panneaux l'interdisent formellement. Mais on s'en fout...

 The dam of Pao Shan in Hsinchu would have nothing special if not for its very vital function of supplying the Industrial Science Park of Hsinchu (Taiwan "Silicon Valley") with enough water to operate the many high-tech plants that employ more than 120000 people.

To be 100% sure, a 2nd dam has actually been created a few years ago also in the neighbourhood.
The dam is also a nice place to walk around, with its two suspension bridges (one of them in the 2nd picture), birds, butterflies..., or for fishing, although it is forbidden. But nobody seems to care...
