Bouddha en jade au temple 法雲禪寺 (Taïwan)

J'aime bien ce temple bouddhiste tranquille d'architecture plutôt sobre, de style un brin Japonais. Cela change du folklore bruyant habituel des temples Taïwanais. Je crois que Vichit l'a visité aussi avant. Le temple va fêter ses 100 ans prochainement et abrite une belle statue de Bouddha en jade de Birmanie, pesant 6 tonnes.
Le Bouddha est en position d'Eveil, sa main droite touchant la terre pour témoigner de sa victoire sur les démons.


I like this quiet Buddhist temple (苗栗大湖－法雲禪寺) with simple architectural features, a little Japanese-style, much apart from the usually detail-over-charged and noisy Taiwanese temples. The temple will celebrate its 100 years soon and has a 6 ton Burma jade statue of Buddha.
The Buddha is in Enlightment position, his right hand touching the ground to show his victory over demons.
