Montagne du rocher blanc (大溪白石山 622m, Taïwan)

Aujourd'hui, on va avec le club à la montagne du rocher blanc, à Tashi 大溪.
Dès le depart, une pancarte nous prévient contre les serpents et les glissades!

Today, we go to the Mountain of the White Rock in Tashi 大溪, with our mountain club.
The hike starts by warning against snakes and slippery falls!
Good advice.

Des serpents, on n'en verra pas, mais pas mal d'occasions de glissades, vue la route boueuse et les mousses vertes sur les pierres.

No snakes, but definitively many chances to fall, considering the muddy trail and dangerously greenish stones.

On se croirait dans la jungle tropicale. La chaleur moite étouffe.
Sans parler des moustiques.
Que je n'aime pas cela!

Looks like a tropical jungle. Humidity and heat are killing us!
Not to mention the mosquitos.
Not my favourite hike, for sure!

On passe par un vieux pont de pierres et riz gluant de 1926, construit à l'époque Japonaise.

We cross a stone and sticky rice bridge (東興橋), built in 1926 during the Japanese rule.

Enfin, on arrive au très long rocher géant "blanc" de cette montagne.
On va grimper dessus tout à l'heure.

Finally, we reach the giant long "white" rock of this mountain.
We are going to climb to its top.

Chose faite! Au plus haut du rocher blanc.
Enfin, qqch d'excitant dans cette rando.

Done! At the top of the "White Rock".
At least, some fun in this hike.

Allez, on descend du rocher.
Cliff s'applique à l'exercice.

OK, time to go down the rock.
Cliff is always very serious in this kind of exercise.

Un autre bout de chemin un peu acrobatique.

Another somehwhat acrobatic trail.

Puis, on arrive au poste de police abandonné et on finit la rando.
Rando à faire plutôt en hiver frais et sec.

Then, we arrive at the old police outpost and end the hike.
Better to do this hike in the cool and dry winter.
