Rando 南二段 (6ème jour, 中央金礦山屋)

6:30AM: on commence la rando.

7:30AM: au sommet de 大水窟山 3612m.

On continue la rando.
9AM: on voit notre chalet d'hier soir au loin.

We continue the hike.
9AM: we can spot the lodge of yesterday night in the distance.

On approche du plateau de 秀姑坪, un endroit très spécial de rhododendrons et arbres morts blanchis.

We are heading to the plateau of 秀姑坪, a very special place of rhododendrons and dead white trees.

 Ça y est, on est à 秀姑坪, à 3530m d'altitude.
Il y avait des postes de police aussi à cet endroit sous l'occupation Jap.

Here we are at 秀姑坪, at 3530m height.
There used to be police outposts here too during Japanese rule.

Des arbres morts blanchis partout.

White dead trees everywhere.

11:30AM: bon, assez de photos, on descend au chalet de 白洋金礦山屋 15min plus bas.
Les Japs exploitaient une mine d'or ici, comme le nom Chinois l'indique.
Le chalet a été re-tapé depuis notre dernière visite en 2009.

11:30AM: enough day-dreaming. 
We descend to the lodge of 白洋金礦山屋 15min downwards.
The Japanese were exploiting a gold mine there.
The lodge has been renovated since our last visit in 2009.

Quel plaisir de déjeuner avec 玉山 en face!

What a pleasure to have lunch there, with view on Jade Mountain!

2:30PM: on continue à descendre et on arrive au chalet de ce soir (中央金礦山屋). 
On est vers 2800m d'altitude.

2:30PM: we keep descending and come to the lodge of today (中央金礦山屋).
We are around 2800m high.

Avec une charmante rivière juste à côté.
Super coin de vacances.

With a lovely creek just nearby.
Super place for vacation.
