Rando 加里山縱走哈勘尼山 (2220m, 1990m, Taïwan)

Hier, on a fait la rando de 加里山 2220m à 哈勘尼山 1990m. Une boucle de 9km en tout.
Pas une rando facile, avec des pentes bien raides.
8AM: on part du parking du village de 鹿場, à 1400m d'altitude.

Yesterday, we hiked from 加里山 2220m to 哈勘尼山 1990m. A 9km long loop in total. 
Not an easy hike, with steep slopes.
8AM: we start from the parking lot of 鹿場 village, at 1400m high.

La lumière matinale pénètre doucement dans la forêt de pins.

The morning light softly filters into the pine forest.

On arrive vite à la rivière 風美溪.
Le petit pont en métal a été emporté par les typhons récents et est remplacé par un pont de bricolage d'arbres.

We quickly come to the river 風美溪.
The metallic bridge has been swept away by the recent typhoons and is now replaced by a makeshift wooden bridge instead.

On continue et on arrive aux vestiges du chemin de fer qui transportait les arbres coupés.
Cliff prend sa pose préférée.

We continue and come to the remains of the railways which used to carry lumber.
Cliff takes his favourite pose.

Petite pause dans la forêt.

Break in the forest.

Ensuite, ça grimpe direct et il faut un peu d'acrobatie!

Then, straight up with some acrobatics needed!

10:30AM: on arrive au sommet de 加里山 2220m. 3.2km en tout.
Cela doit être ma 30+ème fois!

10:30AM: we reach the summit of 加里山 2220m. 3.2km long in total.
This must be my 30+th time!

Le temps est superbe.
On voit la base militaire de 樂山 2620m au premier plan, la chaîne de montagne 雪山西陵 3886m à l'arrière plan.

The weather is beautiful.
We can see the military base of 樂山 2620m at foreground, mountain chain of 雪山西陵 3886m in the background.

11AM: on part vers le 2ème sommet, en suivant un parcours en V, descendre jusqu'a la rivière à 1600m d'altitude, puis re-grimper tout ça.
Mais tout d'abord, il faut descendre une falaise verticale de 20m!

11AM: we go to the 2nd summit, following a V-shape trail: descend to the river at 1600m high, then re-climb all the way to the top.
But first, must go down a vertical cliff of 20m!

Qui finit par une échelle branlante en alu.
Cliff s'en sort très bien, lui qui a pourtant peur de l'altitude.

Which ends by a shaky aluminum ladder.
Cliff manages it pretty well, even if he is afraid of height.

2PM: on descend une forêt bien glissante et enfin, on retrouve le chemin de fer mais plus en amont.
La rivière n'est pas loin maintenant.

2PM: we descend a slippery forest and meet again the railways, but higher.
The river is not far now.

2:30PM: retour à la rivière vers 1600m en amont.

2:30PM: back to the river again at 1600m upstream.

3:15PM: après une pause café et la venue des retardataires, on continue la dernière grimpe vers le 2ème sommet.

3:15PM: after a coffee break and the catching up of slower climbers, we continue to the 2nd summit.

4PM: 2ème sommet dans la forêt.
Première fois ici.
Pas de vue.

4PM: 2nd summit in the forest.
First time here.
No any view.

5:45PM: enfin, après 3km de descente, on revient au point de départ.
A temps pour éviter la tombée de la nuit.
Belle rando que je referai bien un jour!

5jin au lac de Lugu (瀘沽湖, Chine)

Comme d'habitude, 5jin est retournée au lac de Lugu pour les vacances estivales.

Spectacle Saltimbanco du Cirque du Soleil à Taipei (太陽劇團-藝界人生)

Jeudi, on a été voir le spectacle Saltimbanco du Cirque du Soleil au Taipei Arena.
1ère fois pour tout.

Thursday, we went to see the show Saltimbanco of the Cirque du Soleil (太陽劇團-藝界人生) at the Taipei arena.
1st time for both.

Nos places ne sont pas trop loin du podium.
Beaucoup de monde bien sûr.

Our seats are not too far from the stage.
Almost full of course.

Le spectacle dure 2 heures et l'amalgame des couleurs, acrobaties, et surtout de la musique et chants en live, est époustouflant!
Mes 2 numéros préférés: main à main et bungees (le chant est magnifique en  live)!

The show lasts 2 hours. The combination of the colours, acrobatics, and most of all the live music and songs, is astonishing!
