Nanjing: le mausolée de Sun Yat Sen (南京 Chine)

On vient de passer quelques jours à Nanjing,  ancienne capitale impériale de Chine au 14ème siècle, sous la dynastie Ming.
1ère étape: visite d'un monument moderne de 1929, le mausolée de Sun Yat Sen (中山陵).

We have just visited Nanjing, ancient imperial capital of China in the 14th century, under the Ming dynasty.
1st step: visit of something modern (1929), the Mausoleum of Sun Yat Sen.

Une allée boisée mène au mausolée au fond.

An alley bordered by trees goes to the mausoleum in the background.

Une stèle marque l'entrée à une petite salle  où Sun Yat Sen est inhumé, et où trône sa statue. Photos interdites.

On continue vers le 2ème monument.

We continue to the 2nd monument.

Rien de spécial, mais on a  une belle vue des arbes des environs .
On dirait un paysage d'automne Français. Normal, Nanjing a à peu près la même latitude.

Nothing special, except a nice view of the trees around.
Looks like a typical autumnal scene in France. Normal, Nanjing is at roughly the same latitude.

On va maintenant visiter la maison de Sung Mei Ling (美玲館)  à côté.
Très belle bâtisse bien construite, flanquée de grands platanes qu'on trouve partout à Nanjing.

We now visit the mansion of Sung Mei Ling nearby.
Beautiful well constructed building, surrounded by large plane trees that can be easily found in Nanjing.

Après, on va à un musée dédié aux concours administratifs impériaux. Typiquement Chinois.
La région de Nanjing a vu sortir le plus de 1er de concours aux temps impériaux, semble-t-il.

We then go a museum dedicated to imperial administrative exams. Typically Chinese.
Nanjing is said to have produced the most exam champions in imperial times.

Le quartier est très touristique maintenant: restos, boutiques, batobus...

The area is very touristic now, with shops, restaurants, boat cruises.

Ambiance Chinoise d'antan.

A feeling of the ancient Chinese times.

Les habitants de Nanjing adorent le canard, cuit à l'eau très salée. C'est bon, mais plutôt lourd quand on a ça à tous les repas!

People of Nanjing love eating duck, boiled in very salted water. It is good, but quite heavy when we are served this at every meal!

Ils aiment bien aussi les petits pains, salés ou sucrés. 

They also like little breads, salted or sweet.
