Aujourd'hui, on est retournés à 出磺坑 faire la rando des vieux puits de forage, qu'on n'a pas fait le week-end dernier.
J'aime bien ce coin, pas trop touristique encore, et chargé d'histoire.
1km seulement. Pas trop fréquenté.
Today, we went again to 出磺坑 to visit the old drilling wells, following a less-traveled 1km trail. We did not have the time last week-end.
I like this site. Not too touristic and with historical remains.
Départ ici dans la forêt.Departure here in the forest.
Only 1km, but keeps ascending to the height of 385m.
1st well.
We come to the top. 45min in total.
La stèle commémorative en réparation.
The commemorative stele being restored.
The machine to pull the cable carts.
A drilling well.
This one has been swallowed by vegetation.
We go down and visit the old buildings, some recently restored.
Here, the dormitories, Japanese-style.
We can see the gas forage station. Still working but in very small volumes of course, as Taiwan needs to import almost all its energy.
