Notre Dame de Paris après l'incendie

On revient d'une semaine en France.
Petite Fleur a essayé de s'incruster dans la valise, mais c'est raté.

We have just  spent a week in France.
Little Flower wanted to sneak into the suitcase, but did not work out.

Direction: Notre Dame de Paris, ou ce qu'il en reste.

Straight to Notre Dame of Paris, or whatever remains of it.

On ne peut pas s'en approcher.
Des policiers armés montent la garde.

We can't get near now.
Armed policemen are guarding the access.

Quelle catastrophe!
Plus de toit mais une grande bâche blanche.
Hélas, c'est ce qu'on verra de la cathédrale pendant de longues années.

What a disaster!
No more roof but a large white tarp instead.
Unfortunately, this is what the cathedral will look like for many long years.

Allez, on va au Jardin du Luxembourg pas loin.
Beaucoup de monde profitant du beau temps.

Many people enjoying a nice sunbath.

Un couple de Chinois  y faisait leur album de mariage.
Le photographe leur demandait de prendre toutes sortes  de poses romantiques,  sous le yeux amusés des Parisiens.

A Chinese couple was having a wedding photoshoot.
The photographer was instructing them to take all kinds of romantic poses, to the amusement of Parisians passing by.
