Rando de 奇萊東稜: 4ème jour, 太魯閣大山 3283m (Taïwan)

6AM: on part à l'assaut de 太魯閣大山 3283m.

6AM: we go climb 太魯閣大山 3283m.

Il faut grimper environ 250m en hauteur.
Une petite pause.

We climb 250m in altitude.

7AM: au sommet. Mon 80ème.

7AM: at the top. My 80th summit.

9:30AM: retour au camp. On démonte les tentes et prêts à partir.

9:30AM: back to the camp. We pack the tents and ready to move on.

Pareil, comme hier, on se faufile dans la forêt de bambou.

Same as yesterday, most of the time, we hike in the bamboo forest.

1PM: le lac 平安池 est en vue.
C'est un point d'eau crucial.

1PM: we reach the lake 平安池, a critical water supply location.

De là, on s'approvisionne en eau pour jusqu'à demain soir.
4-6kg de plus à porter donc.

This lake supplies water till tomorrow night.
4-6kg more in backpack though.

On doit maintenant grimper 200m en hauteur jusqu'au camp de ce soir.
Une mer de nuages pour égayer la route.

We now climb 200m high to the camp site of tonight.
A sea of clouds to entertain the hike.

C'est plutôt crevant.
Le sac à dos pèse.

Quite tiring actually.
Backpack feels heavy.

Il faut contourner l'énorme rocher de marbre.
Vous voyez le petit point orange? Un pauvre humain très essouflé.

We go around the huge marbre rock.
Can you spot the little orange hiker? Probably very tired.

4:30PM: enfin au camp de 大理石營地. 
Un endroit très spécial, insoupçonné au milieu des immenses rochers de marbre.
Très belle vue des environs et plusieurs endroits bien plats pour les tentes mais gros défaut: pas d'eau.

4:30PM: finally, we reach the camp site of 大理石營地. 
A very special place, unsuspected in the middle of huge marbre rocks.
Nice view and flat places ideal for setting tents, but big drawback: no water.
